Also, there are doctor-prescribed medications that treat these skin conditions, but contain cortisone and steroids, which can have long-term negative effects on the body.

DermaSOLVE by L'Avenir was
founded by its President & CEO Michael Marenick. The below story
was written by Scott Wulffhart of the Shopping Channel of Canada.
Introducing Michael Marenick - by S. Wulffhart
Marenick
has done shows on Home Shopping Network, The Shopping Channel of Canada
and has been interviewed on CNBC television and on a national
informercial for Cellutone.
Eight
years ago, Michael Marenick was a computer programmer with no
connection to the beauty industry. Today, he's the founder of one of
the most exciting skincare companies in North America-a company that
has been profiled in Self, New York Magazine, Newsweek, the New York
Times and Washington Post.
"We're
going to be on The View again, "Marenick says matter-of-factly over the
phone from his New Jersey headquarters. "Co-host Lisa Ling uses this
line. In fact, just the other day, she listed it as one of her
favorites."
So how did a computer programmer give up the glamorous world of digits, databases and disk drives to enter the arena of creams, serums and lotions?
"My
mother suffers from psoriasis," Marenick explains. "It became
incredibly frustrating. I wanted to help find her a cream, but nothing
worked." Michael searched the market for a solution in a jar, but to no
avail.
Fed
up with the products on the drugstore shelves, Marenick decided to do
his own research. The solution to his mother's problem, he discovered,
was sitting in his refrigerator.
"The
egg has all the nutrients and nourishment you need for your skin!"
Marenick explains. "I made my first test batch of cream in the kitchen."
Michael's
miracle cream worked wonders on his mother. Soon afterwards, he began
giving samples to his friends and family. When they came back with the
impressive results, Michael realized he was on to something!
From
this one cream, which successfully treated his mother's psoriasis,
L'Avenir was born. So isn't it a little crazy that a computer
programmer would become a cosmetics king? Not according to Michael! He
explains that it wasn't a difficult transition at all.
"As
a computer programmer, I'm from a very detail-oriented background," he
explains. "Creating skincare products that target problem areas require
the same sort of attention."
So does he miss his day job?
Not in the least.
After all, what could be more rewarding than helping people recapture their self-confidence and self-worth?
